New state test results show that students learn best in person with their educators and friends. Students who learned in hybrid or remote models last year did not achieve as much compared to students who learned in person. Being in person also ensures that students have access to all that schools provide – like healthy meals and extracurricular activities.
This Info Brief provides families with an overview of the 2020-21 statewide student achievement results for different learning models. More detailed information about the state test results here.
Also included is information about what schools are doing to keep students and staff safe, guidance for staying home when children are sick, and resources for helping children and caregivers de-stress and stay healthy. Watch for versions in other languages coming soon.
